The Triga vintage comes from a dry and warm year, where the lack of rain allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly. The Monastrell vineyards, some planted in 1925, are located at altitudes that vary between 600 and 750 meters in the mountains of the Sierra de Salinas, Umbría and La Sima. The limestone and stony soils provide a unique minerality that is reflected in the wine. In addition, the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, planted in 1981, contributes to the structure and complexity of this wine.

The production of Triga is carried out with native yeasts and a careful selection of the best clusters in the vineyard and in the winery. Each plot, with very low yields per hectare, is harvested and processed separately. After maceration in 5,000 kg tanks, the wine is put into a vertical press, which highlights the purity of the grapes.

Tasting note

View: Intense and opaque purple color.

Nose: Explosive aromas of black and blue fruits, such as blueberries and currants, with hints of licorice, exotic spices and a floral background.

Mouth: Rich and long in the mouth, with excellent acidity that provides freshness. Sweet black fruit flavors permeate the palate, leaving a spicy and concentrated finish with notable persistence.

Triga is ideal to accompany grilled red meats, spicy dishes and robust stews. Its concentration and balance make it an excellent choice for those looking for a wine with body and depth.
