The Valencian Community not only stands out for its wines, but also for a rich liquor tradition that has endured through the centuries. These liqueurs, made with local ingredients and following ancestral recipes, are an authentic expression of Valencian identity.
Mistela, a sweet fortified wine, is one of the most emblematic liquors of the region. Made with partially fermented grape must and enriched with wine alcohol, mistela comes in a wide variety of styles, from the driest to the sweetest.
